Some blooms from this week

Been busy moving potted roses trying to get a fenced area built for our dumb dogs. Our son and his girlfriend got a puppy who's a royal pain in the butt. I'm replacing drippers and sprinklers constantly because he rips them out, chews them up, and digs holes all over the place, and makes messes everywhere. Our dumb dog finally quit doing all that, but between the two of them, they crap in my flowerbeds and all the walkways and I'm sick of that too! I can't wait til we get it all done so I can finish cleaning the walkways and make things look nice and be less frustrating for me.

The weather is hot and we're on every-other-day water rationing. It's all I can do to keep the roses alive. When I have more time I'll get the deadheading done so there'll be more blooms. They're kinda sparce right now.

Gorgeous! I hope the lovely blooms at least help to lessen your frustration! I understand though - my sister can't garden in her backyard at all because her (very large) dog is simply too destructive. Well, her DH too, truth be told. ;)

I just love your striped roses. They're both so different and so lovely.
Fragrant Plum looks great - there's so many flowers!!
I really like Golden Jubilee and Masquerade!!!

Okay what is it about Stainless Steel? :) Everytime I see a picture of it - it looks like it's been taken in the late evening. Does everyone wait til evening to take the picture - or is it just how the rose looks? That intrigues me.

Beth, those are very nice. Your striped ones are so lovely, and I really like your Golden Jubilee and love all those blooms on your Fragrant. Plum. The color of that daylily is so pretty. They are all very nice, love seeing your roses.

and the frilly petals on Mt. Hood.

Philatelie is yummy!!! Your Secret is looking so much better than mine. Mine's pink edges have overtaken the white area for a rather insipid look.
Love First Enterprise. Great capture of Fragrant Plum. Paul Shirville is a pretty rose. Don't hear much about it anymore. Great group.
