Aww, it really does look like a kid on tippy-toes. Really though, that is one big, beautiful bloom. I've been wanting to see a good pic of this rose; it is such a pretty yellow.

Oh my gosh. That is so funny. I grew Happy Child for about 3 years and only in her 3rd year did she sprout the infamous Austin long arms. I gave her away to someone who was willing to amputate on a regular basis should it prove necessary......Your shot is priceless.

Thanks all! This rose is nothing if not amusing to me, lol! They both sprouted their very first octopus arms even before winter, between planting time in August and cold time in November! Of course they lost those over winter, but they have wasted no time making more. rootygirl, I'll post a couple more of the blooms close up. They are pretty small blooms, actually, but just cheery and fun!
