Folklore is one of my favorite roses from the past. Since I started over last year, I really missed it and decided to include it this year, so far it's not disappointing me. It's one of my all-time favorite hybrid teas, excellent quality.

Armed with my Sunset booklet on roses I searched for this rose in the late 60's. It had one of the highest AARS ratings of the HTs. Never saw it. Nice to enjoy yours!

Thank you prettypetals and Carol. Carol - Mainly I love it because it is a pretty rose, my iPhone camera is showing a lot of pink, it is really more of a salmon orange with yellow, I need to see if I can capture the color better, unless someone has a better picture, I think Seil might. When I had it a few years ago, it was a fantastic bloomer, it is showing signs of being the same way, the blooms have a very nice shape and they hold up good. It is supposed to be fragrant and I detect some, but not a lot. For me the attributes make it well worth having, it is one I really like.
