You've got some nice ones there. Some of them I have not run across, so it is nice to see what they look like. How do you like your Cinco de Mayo? I have two of them. They do quite well for me although at first I wasn't sure what to think of them until they got going.

I really like Cinco de Mayo! It was a decent size plant from Chamblees when I originally added it 3 or 4 years ago, so it really produced right from the get go. I was lucky in that I planted it in the front of the bed since its still only about 2.5 feet tall. Its healthy as can be, so I think its done growing. As I'm sure you know, its one of those roses that looks better in person, where you can get the whole effect of its varying colors :) Tammy

Nice blooms! I really like that PINK ROSETTE and of course one of my faves CINNAMON DOLCE.

'First Light' struck my fancy with those dark stamens, and I usually don't go for singles. But your photo of Charles Darwin is the winner! What a pretty rose. Now I want a 50-50 bar.

I really love Charles Darwin. Will he get as big as Jude or some of those? Fragrance nice? Thanks for sharing. Susan |

Susan, he's around four years old but only around 3 feet high. He is pretty disease prone though, to be honest. Its funny, he was actually really a nice lemon yellow when I first planted him, but after the first summer in the ground, he's turned a bit pink....maybe our red clay??? Thanks for all the nice comments! Tammy

Beautiful, Tammy! That Electron photo speaks to me! I grow Fame, a similar color, and I love it. Might check out Electron. Do you like it? lesley

Lovely photos. You do like those big, fat full blooms, don't you--and take wonderful photos of them. But then suddenly there is that beautiful photo of the single Simon Robinson--really a stand-out! Kate

Lesley, I just got Electron last fall actually from Edmunds. I had been eyeing it for a couple of years. So far, it hasnt had near the amount of disease issues that some of my other immature plants have had, especially for a HT. Really really bright color and it doesn't fade either. I'm glad I took the chance on it so far. Its also been repeating pretty well for a new rose. Its also suppossed to be hardy to 4b...so that would be great for you! Kate....I know! I go for either really full or singles LOL! Not sure why...I guess the inbetweens look like they're confused or something haha. I still can't get over the fact that Classic Woman wasn't effected by all the heat and humidity and didn't ball on me...well, that one bloom didn't anyway ;) Tammy
