| Miniroses can be lots of fun.
Astra--stays a very small bush with smallish blooms
Concertino Tequila--found at a hardware store, good size blooms
Gingerbread Man--you know this is a favorite
Life Lines--a mini climbler
Amber Kordana--I think. A supermarket rose that is always covered in these perfect flowers
Fall Festival--another supermarket mini
Hot Tamale--needs to be in a sunnier spot
Palmetto Sunrise
Bees Knees
Mano Rose--I named it for the person who gave me this supermarket beauty. It came nameless.

To me, a rose is a rose... All roses are lovely, but I like the fragrant ones better. Love the Gingerbread man and Fall Festival. So many blooms on the Mano Rose. |

| I knew I shouldn't have opened this post. Kathy's roses are too big of a temptation. Especially like Amber Kordana. |

| I love minis! These are all wonderful, Kathy! That last one looks a lot like my Red Mini Wonder supermarket rose. Check it out! |

Kathy, beautiful photos. Such healthy-looking plants! I really like Bee's Knee's. Minis are the first to bloom for me. I am glad I have planted so many grocery store minis over the years! So rewarding! Grocery store stalwarts in the front rock garden:
Flawless; brand new from Heirloom this year. LOVE The long buds and the great color, form and fragrance of this miniflora!
From last year's batch of cuttings, this white mini is doing great in its permanent garden home:

Kathy--We grow Hot Tamale, but ours has more red in it than yours. It's funny how one rose can look so much different grown from one side of the country to the other side.--Ron(P.S.--Here's what ours looks like.)

Ron and Susan, your rose portrait is stunning. How velvety Hot Tamale looks! I like both yours and Kathy's; it is fascinating how roses bloom differently from place to place (and time to time!) Thank's for sharing your lovely photos, everyone! Sandra |

Sandra, love those grocery minis! Some of them are the best. Ron, my HT is in mostly shade and that may affect it some. But I would expect mine to be darker being mostly in shade. Odd, huh? Is yours fragrant? I remember just a little bouquet scenting the entry way years ago. I need to move it to a better sunnier spot to get more blooms for cutting! |

| Love minis. Everything looks so so healthy and clean. |

| Kathy--There is some fragrance but not much.--Ron |
