| Note: Additional pics tacked onto the end of this thread. Make sure you scroll all the way down. : ) Although a number of my roses are finishing their first bloom cycle, I still have some roses just beginning to bloom--or I should probably say more correctly, they would have been blooming a week ago if it hadn't been so continuously overcast and rainy for the past week! Red Intuition--isn't she photogenic! Here's her movie star close up: And her more casual everyday image--but she's still beautiful! Berolina--my brand new HT--supposed to be very disease-resistant. Should open fully in the next day or so--I'll take another pic then. Well Being--I love the faint flushes of red that randomly appear on this beauty. Well Being buds -- see the red buds contrasting with the golden shades on the half opened bud--cool, isn't it! Little Sunset (mini)--not the best picture, but this little feller blooms like crazy. I have two of these. Mystic Beauty (bourbon)--Roses Unlimited's version of Souvenir de la Malmaison. Wonderful rose, by whatever name! Hope you enjoyed these. I still have a few more late bloomers just starting to bloom. If it quits raining long enough to get more pics, I'll post more in a day or two. Kate Note: I updated this thread--scroll down the page and see more pics! Thanks. |

| Wow! Wow! Beautiful! Of course I love RI, but that WELL BEING is so cool with those red buds. And MYSTIC BEAUTY is very interesting!! |

| Update: 24 hours later (and the rain finally stopped), my new rose Berolina is becoming a full bloom--nearly. I think she is quite pretty---the yellow is a pleasant and fresh shade. One reason I bought her is because she is supposed to be VERY disease-resistant.
And here is my brand new Austin Scepter'd Isle putting out her very first bloom. It isn't as big as I'd prefer, but look at all those buds. When they all open, that has got to be a sight! I also have a new Austin climber with buds--will post its "first blooms" in a couple days Kate Updated Update: Here's some more pics. Sun came out and my new little Munstead Wood is going crazy with beautiful colors! Look and admire--but ignore the weeds and leaves I haven't picked up yet! : ) And here is the close-up all my glamor-girls rate: |
