I love love love this rose. It glows. I don't know if you can tell in the photo...it's like Mermaid. Until you see it in rose flesh you cannot really understand what the fuss is about!  random garden shot--allium, cleome, monarda, buttlerfly bush, lots of roses in there somewhere view toward the house. roses in here somewhere. can you spot them? verdun, marie pavie, tiny pink dot is baby Ivor's Rose, nepeta, alchemilla mollis, viola etc mother's day, lilac charm, prairie sunrise, hot pink phlox, elephant ear, black and blue salvia, flacon de neige, lantana same bed reverse angle baby general schlablikine cleome, monarda, sedum all backdrop for the polyantha bed (none of which are in the photo--sorry) allium, monarda, sedum and Clotilde(?) | Hi Susan: I love your random garden shots. My garden is like that, I put red bee-balm everywhere, my favorite, hummingbirds like that red flowers. I'm going to buy more blue shades like lavender ... already have one, but our spring flood didn't help. I like your General S. rose, always wish my climate is warmer to grow roses like that! |
