Mermaid--once the petals fall the anthers remain like little golden spiky suns. This rose just glows.

delphinium--at the base of Parade climber. after all the talk here I decided to try again. Ingrid, if you are out there looks like porcelain. Maybe not Chinese but early Wedgwood. Gorgeous matte color with a rose like Parade.

WOW,Susan....your garden is lovely. I especially liked the May pic and the smorgasbord picture! It is amazing what happens...the growth. All of a sudden you have this lush green beautiful garden. You have put a lot of work in to this garden and it is lovely. Lesley

Susan, the "before" shot makes the "after" shots look really impressive. You have some really beautiful roses and I very much like the cottage garden look. Your garden is growing beautifully.

Thanks you all! I had a visitor the other day and I said to him, "Well, is it too much of a jungle?". He winked and said, "It's a jungle OUT THERE. In here, it's a sanctuary,".
I think that was a very nice compliment and exactly how I feel about my garden. I've worked so hard.
I hope my jr. gardner takes good care while I'm gone!
But I REFUSE to worry about that.
Susan
