The temps have been in the triple-digits most of the week, and I'm amazed at how many of the roses are loving it. Only a few fry out in the front yard where the sun beats all day, and a few here and there. But most of the roses are happy and blooming their heads off! And I'm trying to keep up with the deadheading so they'll repeat better. I haven't been as diligent in the past, so it's fun to see them blooming more this yr. Here's a handful of them (hmm looks like I may have to do this over several posts): ANDRE WILLEMSE ATTRAKTA AVE MARIA BILLY GRAHAM BLACK PEARL BLUE WEDGEWOOD - this was a rose I got from a mail order catalog over 20yrs ago called "Colonial Garden Kitchens" BRINESSA BROOKS RED - I dunno why they called it a "red" CARINA CARY GRANT DAILY SKETCH DELILAH DR DEBAT DUBLIN

With as many as you have Beth, I can't imagine you do have much time!! Delilah and Dublin are my faves today. Nice pics!

Beth - From looking at your roses here and from previous postings it looks like you have a lot of beautiful varieties. I will have to admit some of the names are unfamiliar to me, but you really have some nice ones. I'm glad they are enduring the heat!

You have some interesting ones there. The Delilah looks like it has "show rose" written all over it. It is pretty.
