The 1812 Rose

Hi All,

Thought you would like to see The 1812 Rose TM (KORcasima)

This is the official rose of the 2012 Ontario Horticultural Assoc. Convention & The War of 1812 Bicentennial Celebration.

It's says it's a repeat bloomer with showy blooms
Scented Floribunda
Large Crimson Blossoms
Good Disease Resistance, Height 3'-4'
Hardy to Zones 5b -9b

It�s hard to take a photo of the red color will have to practice at different times.

It's not letting me post second picture, will have to try later. Oh, here it is, haven't been here for a while so have to get the hang of it.

oooo I like it! I like the wide, flat, petal packed blooms! They seem to ball less than the globulars, but are just as pretty!

Beautiful photos. It also more commonly known as Red Riding Hood Fairy Tale. Another outstanding rose in the FT series.

Lobelia is the flower you see serenasyh.

Thanks the-morden-man. Wonder if Palatine will be selling them both under two different names. So far no blackspots.

You know Morden Man, when I looked at it I thought that it favored Red Riding Hood (one of my favorite roses that I grow), except in the picture this one looks more pink! No wonder I liked it :)
