| Ok, here I am in the garden because I decided to skip a day at work. After all, one of my goals this summer is to spend more time here. It seems as if there is never enough time for it.
I have observed some interesting things today. A hummingbird that loves to come to my garden because of a honeysuckle plant is very territorial. Other hummingbirds come by and it chases them away. It's fun to watch the other hummers try to sneak back over and get a sip of honeysuckle. I have also noticed that the bees like to drink plenty of water. They keep coming to the little puddles I create watering my roses. I know most of you already know about these things, but I'm starting to discover so much just being here more. :) Juliet |
