I just got this one this spring. It wasn't my first choice but my brother Alan really liked the red color so we got it in a 2 for 1 deal. I've been very pleasantly surprised with how much I like it!
It's had good growth, bloomed very well, has a nice fragrance, the blooms last a very long time (and haven't had much problem with the heat) and it's had very little disease problems. Now if it likes winter I'd say it's a keeper! |

| The petals look velvety. I'd go for the fragrance every time. |

| Thanks everyone. I think it would make a nice garden rose. You can see that the blooms look pretty at all stages. I have some out there right now that have been open all week in the heat and still look good. The petals don't seem that thick but they do hold up well. The color is true crimson red too and it doesn't fade with age. |

| I have this rose and really like it too. I can never capture its beauty in my photos. It is good for hot areas and I like the way it doesn't turn blue or pink. Glad someone else likes it. Nice photos, too. |

| Your Crimson Bouquet is so gorgeous that I'm almost wishing I had not given mine away several years ago. I remember it as loving the heat and not fading--staying true red. But the reason I gave it away is because it had so many blackspot problems--I really didn't want to spray that much. Interesting that no one else has mentioned BS problems. Perhaps that year I had it was just an exceptional year for BS, do you suppose? Kate |

| Thanks, Kathy! Kate, I've had lots of black spot this year and I don't spray often if at all and this one hasn't had any real problems. It got a few spotty leaves on the bottom but seemed to shake it off and never defoliated like a lot of the rest of them did! Krista, it is a very true red and like Kathy and Kate said, it doesn't fade or burn. |

I agree with you about how your roses look great at every stage. That's unusual for a red rose I find. Looks amazing! Carol |
