| OMG!!!!! How big is that thing??? LOVE the color and form. I'm in zone 7 also. NW GA. to be exact so I suppose it would grow the same size for me. It is GORGEOUS. Does it hold up well in the heat? Some of my rose blooms tend to wilt a bit in this horrid heat. Other ones just laugh at it. Gotta love those. April |

| Woweee! I had this climber once upon a time, but it didn't look like yours. Congratulations! You must be giving it lots of TLC. |

| There are actually two plants, on own root, planted in 2000. It does well in the heat, but the petals tend to spot after prolonged rain. It's more than 15 feet high and at least 20 feet wide. |
RE: Parade, a closer look.

Joe your pics of Parade always knock me out. Try to search for this rose in g@@gle and all you get are "Rose Parade" links lol. Where did you get your own roots from? I would love to have the same source as yours. |

Wow. July? Not spring flush? Truly amazing. Kathy |

Kathy, We had a really late season. Normally, the spring flush would be over by the end of June, but the whole of June had been cold and wet. Jackie, The original plant was a grafted bareroot. But it languished, so I rooted some cuttings off it. The picture shows two of the cuttings. |

| "Is Parade do well in hot zone?" nattaporn It takes the summer well, but that won't be the same as saying that it will do well in a hotter climate. I don't have an answer to that question. But it probably needs a cooling season to flower well. Perhaps gardeners in Southern US may be able to answer your question. "Repeats well" is a relative question. Compared to it's massive spring flush, and a smaller flush in late season, the number of blooms in between is seemingly sparse. But when I compare it with any other roses in my garden, the summer repeat produces more flowers than all the other roses except Frederic Mistral. |

| I know this is an older thread but it is worth bringing up again and we could all use some wow factor right now. So WOW! what an incredible picture, it should be in a magazine or painting or something. It makes me want to sit next to it with a cup of tea and just enjoy looking at it. I wish I knew it would do well in southern Ca. because I am looking for a pink climber. |
