Eye Paint as a climber for Tammy

It wasn't supposed to be a climber but after the first year in the ground, it demanded a trellis.

The fall canes were so long it needed to go up. So DH made a brass trellis for me from internet plans.

The rest is history. I just love this rose. My best blooming climber by far.

Kathy--Great shot!! That would be a stopper for someone riding by your house.--Ron

Thanks, Kathy! That is beautiful! I'm curious to see how tall it will grow here. I'll be sure to plant it toward the back, or where I can place a pillar, in case it does get as tall as yours. I think maybe I'll plant it with some white minis near the base (or yellow would look nice too) Thanks again, I'm excited for it to grow faster now! :)

Oh, wow, Kathy, it's eye popping gorgeous. I wonder how big it will get over the next few years--keep us posted. I'm going to have to check out these hulthemia roses a little better. Diane
