Thanks. I just got it this year. It is growing like crazy and is covered in these beautiful dark red flowers with yellow reverse. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but so far it's outstanding.

Mine has been growing like a weed & putting out flowers like this from the get go. I have it where it gets afternoon shade from about two o'clock on.

A little shade would be good for this one. Mine gets crispy if it gets too hot.

It's gorgeous! I'm so jealous. I had ordered this and a couple other roses from Edmunds and they never got my initial order. I had to resubmit it in May. The plants arrived right away, and were in great shape, however, DARK NIGHT never broke dormancy. It died back to the bud union and I kept hoping it would shoot something out eventually. But, unfortunately, it recently turned all brown. I need to call Edmunds and tell them so they can replace it next yr. What irritates me the most, is the fact that this was the rose I wanted the most of all the new ones this season. I'm just glad to hear it's doing well for everybody who did manage to get it.

ph, that DK is absolutely dropdeadgorgeously stunning !!!!! Silly me, I immediately go to imagining a bouquet of just DK accompanied with a contrasting rose like Sunset Celebration or the like. That would be a jawdropper fer sure......but then that's just me and I'm just sayin ;-)

I had the same idea as boxofrox. Mine are planted next to Sunstruck. It's beautiful when they bloom together. :)
