A new mini for me this year, Chelsea Brittlyn is a pink sport of Aristocrat. I got it at the only local nursery we have that carries any minis at all. And they only have a few each year from Nor'East and now Greenheart I guess. Most of what they get are the more decorative minis but once in a while I'll find an exhibition one like this one. It was 4 rooted cuttings in a pot and I normally don't split them but I decided to try with this one and all 4 took off and grew and bloomed like mad! This is a very vigorous rose! I have one in the ground in my new bed and it never had any shock at all. I'm very pleased with it and hope you all enjoy it too!

It had a bit of black spot early on but has shaken that off and continued to grow well and bloom frequently. I have hopes to get this one to a show next spring!

Yes, looks like a lovely rose. I just love that color of pink. In the 2nd photo it looks like the edges blush. Do they?

Wow!

Thanks everyone!

Carol, it does have a blush on the outer edges. It also is a paler color in cool weather. These were taken during this heat wave and are quite deep. In June when it was much cooler they were a softer shade of pink.

That's lovely - I love phototropic roses. My favorite for doing that is Elizabeth Taylor. I left it behind in our move, and I miss it.

Ms Seil what a lovely rose you've found it's a real show off I've had mine for three years now and it has been a real producer for me always in bloom and a very full bush. Hope you enjoy yours as well. Thanks for posting.
