ROSEANNE - a gorgeous dark burgundy ht introduced by Spring Hill many yrs ago, never marketed beyond that. It's named for Roseanne Barr. I think it didn't go anywhere because it is virused. It only shows up once in awhile tho. This picture can't do it justice. It's a beautiful dark smoky burgundy with darker edges.

OP Seedling X ELSIE MELTON - one of my babies I started from seed about 3yrs ago. Finally starting to get a decent sized plant. A little more orange than her mama. Could have some genes from nearby roses BROADWAY, HEART-O-GOLD or HONDO.

oh, oh, oh, so fabulous! I love your seedling, Beth! Congratulations! As for Roseanne???? it looks PERFECT! I think you caught the color marvelously, no whining allowed, haha! I certainly was impressed. Calfornia Dreaming is beauteous, and you caught its blend very well!

Lots of lovely roses, as usual, but that Michelangelo is really interesting. Do you have more shots of it?

Very nice, Beth! I added Michelangelo this year, but he's still potted up. I think I started buying every striped rose that Vintage had available before they sold out :)
