Wow!!! I love your Abe Darby - especially the picture that has all the wavy petals. No one grows Abe like you do! Hey, I was wondering if you could post a bush shot of Betty Boop. I'd love to see the blooms on the shrub, not just the blooms alone. I've always thought of getting Betty Boop. Your Chicago Peace (like always) is phenomenal!!! The colors just blow me away! Thanks so much Boxo!

Wow, how kind of all ya-alls ;-) I have a neighbor who has nary a flower in her yard who LOVES hydrangeas and I'm going to surprise her with a huge bouquet this holiday afternoon. I'll take a pic and post it. Here's some more shots from this AM...... Grand Marshal

The roses are amazing, boxo, but so are those hydrangeas! And I'm drooling over the cherries!
|
seil......sad story on the cherries, unless you are a bird ;-) After much consternation especially with the bumper crop, we both decided that my health and welfare along with all the underplanted phlox and etcetera being potentially damaged was not worth the attempt to harvest. The birds get it all !!! It just wasn't safe to try and set up a ladder.....it's hell when you get old :-(

Boy.....one needs to be careful when mentioning free cherries. We are in the middle of re-coating our deck and I arose early this AM to look at yesterdays coat and much to my chagrin, two extremely plump raccoons were right in the middle chowing down. Since we have small pets, they are unwelcome intruders ( they also were in my pond and waterfalls last night.)
