I've grown this rose for many years but it is just now coming into its own.
I had it in the ground for a long time and it was languishing so I potted it up last Winter and it has rewarded us with a show all Summer.

The blooms range from a deep rose pink to a soft glowing red -- highlighted by the very large white eye and golden stamens.
And this year the flowers have been huge -- some almost 4"across.
Yet the plant is only about 18" high and wide.

very nice Danty! Glad to hear it's performing better! Maybe your in the ground soil in that location is lacking certain nutrients?
OR maybe it wasn't getting enough direct sun?
Or maybe it didn't like your soils PH level?

Thanks, Jim
I think it was all the above.
The more I grow plants in pots the better they do -- and the more I am able to enjoy them and care for them.

It's one of those eye catchers in the garden. Nice photo, Danty!
