Awwwwww, Jim, I absolutely love these photos! You caught your gorgeous Mr. Lincoln spiral blooms! Just love your Mr. Lincoln, my absolute favorite of your blooms! So Gorgeous of a form, what a winner of a rose! But I also love the color of Outta the Blue and how lovely and cute it is with that sunlight on it (my 2nd favorite). Platinum and Living Easy look good too! Candy, Cagney and Lacy are very happy and content being back home-great to see them! Hopefully Lacy has tamed out on her bird-eating spree, she is looking exceptionally cute, fat and fluffy, hopefully not from eating too many "Tweetie" Twinkies of late, lol!

Mr. JIM, Boy! Precions Platium has sure grown this year and your Mr lincoln is looking great too. You are going to make me buy a Livin Easy I sure like that color. We sometime get geese here around the lakes love to see them. I'm glad to see your pets, I've sure missed my little dog sence I had to put her to sleep. Here hopeing Ms Sue is doing well and keep those pictures coming LOL LOL

What pretty reds! PP's blooms are pretty, but so is the whole bush; it looks so full and healthy.
Lacy looks mesmerized by the geese. Love those green eyes.

Great pix. And such clean healthy foliage. No blackspot out in PA? What do you spray with? -Paul

I do not spray with anything here Paul. I try my best to buy disease resistant roses for my area/garden.
I place the roses in locations that get lots of sun, especially very early morning sun. 9+ hours of sun. lol
Locations that allow for good air circulation around the entire rose bush.
If a rose gets severe BS here, it is removed from the garden. Trail and Error there Paul.

Thanks for the comments rootygirl and Paul!

    Paul,

Mister Lincoln was sent to us by accident, so, we decided to keep it. Even though it has stayed clean from getting Blackspot so far this season, I do not consider Mister Lincoln to be a very BS resistant rose.
He's in a container this year, but, next Spring i'll plant him out front in the ground away from our other roses.
From what I hear, Mister Lincoln needs babied, but, i'll give him a try anyhow.

Your Precious Platium is beautiful Jim, it has really taken off for you this year, and I agree with others, foliage is so nice and healthy for this time of year, and you don't spray??? WOW That is great!

I did plant another baby band of Precious Platinum on Aug,
8,2010, but, a rabbit chewed it to ground level only leaving a stub.
It's coming back though, but, I highly doubt it will make it through our winter. Dang Wabbits!
