A few Monday blooms

After a brief brake in the weather and a little bit of rain, roses look much livelier. Please take a look at a few pictures I took this morning.

This one is unidentified

David Austin's 'Sir Clough'

'The Nun' with a visitor

Bright and cheery 'Lady of Shalott'

Not so often mentioned, 'Swan'

'Buff Beauty' looks brighter

One of my favorite English roses, 'Heavenly Rosalind'

Twofer 'Mary Magdalene'

'Windermere' looks like a waterlily

A few shots of 'Blue for You'

And, finally, new bloom on Cajun Hibiscus 'Creole Lady'

Thank you for looking.

Marina

What gorgeous roses, Marina! I love 'Blue for You' especially and the delicate 'Heavenly Rosalind'. The hibiscus flower is stunning. I have never any hibiscus bloom like this!

Thanks for posting!

Thank you, Christina! 'Blue for You' and 'Heavenly Rosalind' are among my favorite roses.
I have about ten different varieties of Cajun Hibiscus and so far, my favorite is 'Voodoo Magic'. Unreal, beautiful!

Oh they're gorgeous! I am in love with that picture of Windermere! I looked up those cajun hibiscus beauties and they won't winter here, rats!

Thank you, Seil!
Yes, I overwinter my Hibiscus either in the unheated garage (under shop lights) on in the house. Yes, it is a bit of hassle, but in my opinion, well worth the trouble :))
I grow them in half whiskey barrels, they spend all summer outside. They love lots of sun and regular watering.

This is another CH that I love, it is called 'Magnifique'.

These Cajuns have really unique colors.

Ohhhh, I can't believe I missed this post! Gorgeous "haute couture" hibiscuses, Marina, reminds me of Oscar de la Renta's gowns, lol! The textures and ruffling are so dramatic!
The sunlight on the beautiful roses make for captivating photos too! My favorite roses are the apricot Buff Beauty and the unidentified one :D

Thank you, Serena!
I found a tag from 'unidentified' rose - it is 'Ashram'.
I like your description of my Hibiscus - 'haute couture'!:)))
