Kentucky_rose, WOW, those are gorgeous! Much prettier than the florist! Looks like you knew exactly when to cut them. Would love to know what varieties are included. I saw what looked like Red Intuition looking beautiful, and I really love the pastels and lt. yellow and white ones. They are all just wonderful.

WOW!!! Unbelievable that you could get that many GORGEOUS roses from your yard!!!!!!! Fantastic!!!! The only ones I recognize are Paradise and Red Intuition. Those are pretty easy :) Moonstone might be there too? Can you explain your hardening off process?

Sara & Carol, thank you for the compliments! To harden off the roses, I fill a tall bucket (kitty litter pails) with tap water and add about 1 T bleach. After cutting the stems under water, I put the rose in this bucket. Water level should be below the bloom/neck. The stems stay in the water from 15 to 30 minutes. This really hydrates the bloom and helps it to hold longer. The bleach kills some bacteria. I have added to much bleach and it lighten the rose. The varieties are: Red Intuition, Paradise, Moonstone, Falling in Love, Welcome Home, Buxom Beauty, PJPII, Beverly, Tineke, Sweetness, Marike Koopman, Wildfire, Dona Martin, Let Freedom Ring, Stainless Steel, Crescendo, Veteran's Honor, & Signature. I hope this is close enough.

Kentucky_rose - You did a great job with the bouquets, really lovely. I've enjoyed your sharing so much, because it has been so hot here and I only have a handful of blooms. You have some real beauties and I am so glad you posted these lovely pictures.
