Fragrant Cloud is not my best performer. The blooms blow in a heart beat so I hardly ever can catch it in any kind of form. It's very slow to repeat and spots regularly. And for my money doesn't have that much fragrance either!
Fragrant Cloud

Folklore, now here's a rose to write home about! It always has wonderful form and with it's good petal substance lasts a long time. The plant is tall and nicely branching. It will spot and mildew some but continues to grow and bloom any way.
Folklore

Fire N Ice is the floribunda representative of my red w/white reverse collection. It's a good bloomer but does spot some. It dies back quite a bit in it's pot over the winter but it comes back strong and quickly each spring.

Focal Point. I read once that Frank Benardella didn't think this was one of his better roses. If this isn't one of his best I don't know what would be!

I just got Magic Show and can't wait to see it bloom!

Frankly Scarlet was bought 2 years ago as a huge potted plant from a local nursery. It was gorgeous. Since then it has steadily grown backwards. It was in the front bed in what I thought was a pretty good spot but it just never did well. So I've moved what's left of it out to the new bed and we'll see.

The Focal point really has one, that is beautiful.
Haven't seen Fire n ice in a while. Pity about Frankly scarlet not doing too well, as it's such a lovely clear colour, hope it recovers for you.
My favorite colour, of course, is Folklore.

Lovely roses, seil! My favorite is Focal Point. Fire 'n' Ice has truly a stunning white reverse.

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! Yes, Focal Point has great centers! When Fire N Ice fully opens you can't see the white so I tend to photograph it more in the bud stage.

Yes, I agree on Focal Point--a new one for me.

I'm enjoying viewing all these threads, seil.

Fire 'n' Ice is striking!! I never thought about what you said - once open the white can't be seen. That's too bad. But still a beauty!!

Focal Point is a quilled beauty!! The colors are like the ones on my Chicago Peace.

Thanks so much - really lovely roses!!

Glad you like them, Carol! I am particularly into the red and white reverse and have tried to get one in each class.

RE: The Fs

oh, yes, Focal Point and your Folklore are my absolute favorite too! Unless Focal Point lacks fragrance, lol! I'm a fragrance fiend so no matter how drop dead gorgeous, I run screaming if it doesn't. But ignorance is sheer bliss, so as far as I'm concerned I looooooooove it, lol!

Hmmm, I don't know if FP has a fragrance, Serena. I'm not that picky about fragrance myself. I promise to check next time it blooms though.

Frederic Mistral

Really wowed me last year, but this year we got hit by heat in late May/early June, along with dampness.
