| What an incredible month of August I've been blessed with here in my little 'Eden'. In my wildest dreams of all those years ago I never imagined the kind of bounty I would have to enjoy and share. With all the other, not so enjoyable things going on in the outside world, I am so thankful for the peace and tranquility a garden provides.
Here are a few of the things that make me smile.......I hope you can take a load off and sit a spell and enjoy.......thanks so much for looking.......:-) This is Brandy with a lavendar dinner plate dahlia bud Queen Elizabeth Double Delightfulness Chicago Peace The Honorable Abraham Darby This is mommas latest bouquet, it's huuuuuuuuge, like almost 24" high and 16" wide

| Thanks Tammy, I moved that dpd this year from under an ever expanding 'Sensation' lilac and it really likes the new spot and it's fuller sun. It's about 9" across and that bouquet has two of them in it ;-) |

| Wow! Just outstanding...your roses are always so big and beautiful! The heat and drought have "done-in" my roses this summer. I so enjoy your pictures, so keep them coming! Thanks, Lesley |

| Man, they are all just GAWAJUS!!! Really love your CHICAGO PEACE. Mine still hasn't bloomed yet... in two yrs. It was a crappy wax-coated bagged bareroot from Wally World, so ... go figure! I can only hope when it does eventually bloom it will actually be that beautiful rose it's supposed to be! For now, I can enjoy looking at yours! (And that DD is gorgeous too!) |
|
| It looks like your second bouquet is protected by a security firm. With blooms like that, I would too. :>) Lovely, lovely blooms, each and every one. That pink dahlia is wonderful. |

| Thanks everybody :-) I'm thinking that summer is far from over here......... DPD w/tape measure (I measured it at 9.25" ;-) Starburst-ish dahlia Fall flush of clems Time lapse on the earlier rose/dahlia shot A couple more DD's |
