I've seen other pics of it doing that "split personality" thing. I LOVE it! I wish mine would throw out a bloom like that once in awhile! Do you find your early-season blooms are often almost pure dk red? Mine usually has the first one or two blooms like that, then it starts turning out the stripeys.
