I haven't posted in a while, but have enjoyed seeing all your pix. Here are some pix of 'Savoy Hotel', one of my favorite roses. I have nine of them planted in a mixed border. I believe 'Savoy Hotel' is one of the best-kept secrets of rosedom. It is a HT that is actually winter-hardy in zone 5 (own-root), is very disease-resistant, extremely vigorous, constantly pumping out beautiful weather-proof flowers. It is also self-cleaning, no hips so no deadheading needed. Unfortunately, no fragrance, but I still give it a 9.5. Can be hard to find own-root. -Paulie

Paulie - Beautiful rose, one I have always admired, but not sure it would perform well in my climate. Love your companion plants too. Great pictures.

Wow! Looks great. I can see that it's a prolific bloomer. Quite a beauty!! Looks really healthy too. Carol

Wow! Great garden shot! :)

Lovely purples and pinks in your garden :) I saw and admired Savoy Hotel on my trip to the local State Rose garden midway through last summer. A few blooms were getting crispy around the edges, but it was still flowering through the heat.
