Better pics at HMF of this very pretty, pastel pink 2006 Carruth rose. I've been admiring it in a neighbor's garden and all the good shots came out terribly blurry :-( Need to practice with this camera. My nose didn't catch fragrance.

I really enjoy mine (except for the wicked thorns) and you captured the soft pink color very well. Mine is usually fragrant to very fragrant. Unfortunately it's a little winter tender even in my zone, and got bit pretty hard last year when we dipped down to almost zero for 4 or 5 days. Thanks for posting this beauty.

Ah yes, the thorns on FALLING IN LOVE are capable of severely wounding one...hehe, sort of like choosing the wrong partner to fall in love with. Gotta be careful! :-P But on the plus side you can plant this rose in an area you don't want anyone, man or beast, to intrude.
