| Here's the latest bloomers popping out this week.... ANDRE WILLEMSE COURTOISE DISCO DR DEBAT INTRIGUE MALICORNE MANOU MEILLAND MODERN MAGIC NEPTUNE SOLITUDE SOUTINE SUMMER FASHION TANTARRA TATTON THE MCCARTNEY ROSE WONDERSTRIPE And here's a wonderful little surprise I found this morning. My son's new dog chewed up a bunch of my roses in this one bed a few months ago and I figured this one was lost forever. But lookie here... it's coming back really nicely. Being own-root I was sorta hoping against all hope it would recover and I'm so glad it did. BLUE RIVER |

| Lovely blooms, as always. Glad you got Blue river back. Even dogs have a "taste" for roses :>) |
| Beth, what's your opinion of Poseidon vs. Neptune regarding beauty of blooms? Love Wonderstripe and what a gorgeous bud on The Mccartney Rose. Eager to see Blue River opened more. Lovely salmon orange Tatton. |

| Your Neptune looks reasonably nice. You have quite a collection here. Out of curiosity, did you feel that earthquake down in the Napa area? |
| Thanks everybody! Irisgal, both roses are gorgeous, but I think I like NEPTUNE better. It's taller and the blooms are such an unusual dusty blue-lavender. POSEIDON is beautiful and the blooms are sort of serrated and ruffled, and more of them. I dunno. They're both great roses. Bustopher thankfully we did not feel any of the earthquake. Napa is about 2hrs away. We did feel a tiny one in our area a yr or so ago tho. |
| Thanks Beth. The blooms I've seen of 'Neptune' were more pinky mauve. Climate?! |

| Gorgeous roses!!! Especially love the stripeys!! What's your opinion on Summer Fashion? I ordered it for next year, and I'm wondering if I made a good decision. I'm happy for you about your survivor rose!! |
| Irisgal, NEPTUNE does sort of start out with a bit of a pinky mauve color, but it turns more blue-lavender with dusty undertones. Carol, SUMMER FASHION is a good older floribunda. Mine is in a big pot and it blooms several times throughout the season with lots of lovely blooms. They blow kinda quickly, but they're so pretty. I think you'll be happy with it. |

| Hopefully they won't blow so quickly for me in our cooler zones. Sounds like a great rose! Carol |
