Harlow Carr - I adored the orchid lavender (?) color of this rose and its wonderful bloom shape. Does anyone know anything about it?

Shoot. I just remembered when I use gardenweb's upload feature it won't retain the pic's orig. size. Sigh.

Ooo, lovely! I'm not usually for stronger yellows, but I grow and like Julia Child. I would put Harlow Carr in the top five of "Austins I don't grow, but would." Great pictures! How is Harlow Carr's fragrance?

Sorry, no credit to me on these beauties. Julia and Harlow were at public rose gardens. They were 2 on my short list.

Arbutus ~~ I don't remember if Harlow Carr was scented. I fell hard for it. A different shade that I've not come across in roses. Which would be wonderful, I think, with Indigo Spires salvia, Russian sage, Nigella, and, and.. . . . I need it!!!

Great pics of Harlow Carr. It has a strong sweet fragrance like a Damask.
