Prettypetals, those roses are so pretty! What are their names? I went outside to shake the rain out of mine and then let them air dry about 30 minutes before I would cut them. It came a good downpour before I got my things together. Your roses are breathtaking!

Beautiful! Wish I could cut that many off mine this time of year! Smiles Nin

Thanks y'all! Kentucky rose there's lots of diff varieties but mostly Carding Mill, Jubilee Celebration, Alnwich, Ambridge, Cream Veranda, Quietness, Sweet Juliet, Windermere and prob another one or two others. Dreading winter but ready for cooler temps and more rain.

Beautiful girl with her beautiful roses! I am so amazed at the dozens of gorgeous roses at this time of year! Kudos! Such a happy pic! Love all the pink, apricot, pastel colors! Do you do anything special to get that many blooms? Bloomkote, super bloom?

Thanks bayourose. This yr I've only used triple 10 due to laziness. I have lots of roses to cut from and the poor things are prob shaking in the dirt every morning when they see me coming. Hahaha!! I've tried to switch out to the colors I love to bring inside since the yrs are creeping up on me and if I'm going to put the time and effort into caring for them I'm going to have mostly the colors I love. When I started growing them prob 7-8 yrs ago I went wild getting whatever color but now I'm trying to be more selective. Thanks again!!

Thanks ladies!! Dang Carol I had no clue it was so cold in your zone and hail def wreaks havoc on our plants. There always seems to be something we have to deal with!! Can't wait to see your pics when those buds bloom open! Thanks again y'all!!!

Prettypetals, such beautiful flowers and your smile lights up the flowers. Mine have never looked that good but I'm working on it :)

How big is your garden and how many roses do you have to have that many flowers? Would love to see some pictures of your garden. Thank you for sharing.

"I would say ooooh, lalalalalalala" (Grace Potter and the Nocturnals).......

NEVERMIND, I DID !!!!!

What a warm ,wonderful, and demure portrait of pastel perfection :-)

I just love all those rich creamy shades of and peach and pink and gold. Somewhat Darby-ish and Tamora-ish and Eden-ish and even Brandy-ish and Sunset Celebration-ish.

Outstanding !

Thanks bay girl! I'm sure yours look just as good if not better. I have prob 150+ roses on an acre and a half and have fertilized three times this yr with 10-10-10 and this yr they seem to be producing more this time of year than they ever have. Makes me a happy girl. ;)) my flower beds are looking tired right now but I will post a few shots later. We had some sod put in last yr and that stinking stuff is spreading alllllll in my beds. Gotta figure out how to keep it at bay. It's hard to keep things nice and tidy while watching my sweet rambunctious 2 yr grand son!! Talk about YIKES!!!! Thanks again!!

Thanks a bunch Boxo!! I love all the pastel soft colors soooo much as y'all can tell!! I do enjoy all your bouquets!! Thanks for looking!!

I`m in such awe….your roses are so beautiful. And to get that many this time of year is wonderful. I wish I could just put my nose in the middle of them all! This time of year always gets me a little down. My own garden looks so tired. Roses that are blooming are small, most not in bloom. Miss my phlox as mildew got them all! You have certainly made my evening with your beautiful roses.

Thanks so much Lesley! I know what you mean about tired beds and mildewed phlox. My phlox had some sucking bugs this yr that left white spots on the tops of the leaves. I cut them way back and they've bounced back good. Mine rebloom two or three times as long as I cut them back. I'm so glad you enjoyed my roses. I felt a little crazy plopping myself in the pic but my hubby insisted. Lol. Thanks again!! Judy

Wow! What a lovely lady with an amazing bouquet!

 o
RE: A girl and her roses!! Lol

Thanks y'all!! I planted so many diff colors at first and still have some of the brighter colors simply bc they're such great bloomers but have traded out a bunch for my favorite colors. Thanks again everyone!!

Hi pretty petals. Gorgeous blooms. Well done. I now have 150 roses myself, but on 1/4 acre. Keeping the grass out has become a chore so I am in the process of Bermuda grass destruction to be replaced by more garden beds!

Grass be gone! or any product with Fluizapop sic. Not sure of the spelling will keep grass out of the beds without harming your lovely roses. Keep posting rose pics and happy gardening!!
