Loved them! Your picture of Anna's Promise is the best one I've seen so far. :)

Holly, beautiful roses and pictures. The first one is definitely an eye catcher. What's its name?

While possibly coming off as a parrot, that first rose is really lovely! Is it Perfume Tiger? It reminds me of it quite a bit. Here's Perfume Tiger from this past Spring:

Ed: I now see you mention that it's Wonderstripe in the striped roses thread. I hadn't heard of it before, but it looks great!

I am waiting for the name of the first rose of Holly's. Great pictures Holly.

Arbutus ~ do you know the name of your daffodil? Love your Perfume Tiger.

I can't think of the name of that daffodil at the moment, but I'll see if I have a list of the bulbs I've planted the last few years.

It's a Wonderstripe. Took me all summer to get that bloom! First year plant and it came as a band.

The Anna's Promise does get very orange, that great kind of glowing sunset orange. My understanding is that it's descended from Gingersnap (which I also grow). It's not hot/electric orange. Another pic here.

Iris_gal -

I don't know if you'll check back on this, but I think there is a good chance that daffodil is 'Ice King.' I'm not 100% sure, but nothing else I've planted reminds me of the pictured daffodil amongst the varieties I've jotted down. Hope that helps!

I love your Wonder Stripe. Lovely!! I don't think I've heard of it before.
I really like your Cinco - looks like swirling flamenco skirts. Love the color

Jay - that's a gorgeous shot of Perfume Tiger!!!

Beautiful roses Holly! Don't despair over your WONDERSTRIPE. Mine blooms like crazy. It's probably 12+yrs old. And the darn thing, being own-root, sent off two runners, so it's actually three plants in a big cluster. The blooms are so unusual. Every one is different. Some will be mostly coral, others lots of yellow, or some evenly mixed. It's a very interesting rose.
