| Gemini is always strong orange & creamy white in my garden but photographed as a lovely shade of rose (late afternoon). I added some green to help color accuracy. Maybe if I got up at sunrise to shoot ....................................... no. If it weren't so elegant - like a perfect sculptue - I'd shovel prune. Once again learned not to buy based on photo color.

| Gads...if GEMINI isn't the world's most beautiful rose (to Me)--it sure is close to it. Iris Gal, your photos of it are outstanding!!! Thanks!! :) Debbie |

| Very pretty. In my yard it's not so dark. More of a medium pink. |

Gemini is one fantastic rose! Your colors are amazing. I don't think mine have been that bright, but maybe now that it is cooler . . . . Mine is a standard--big mistake. It is much too huge a bush to be on a long trunk. I need a regular ladder and can't even photograph them after first flush. The tree is always in full bloom, too. |

It's one of my favorite cutting roses. Looks spectacular with a spray of Dr. Huey. Your photo is convincing me that I must get one for my own garden... Renee |

| Thank you all. I cut one for the first time and 2 days later it had changed from orange to rose. Which would be good with Dr Huey. Which is who was stealing nutrients from Abraham D. I loved the arching sprays so much I allowed to grow. That sucker!!! We've had chilly summers the past two years. If we get our old ones back maybe the color will be pinker? So Calif & Sacramento are giving the colors I love. Like Pelican's beautiful pic. Maybe a superzoom would catch a picture of yours Kathy (from your 2nd story/roof?). |
