Some more late summer blooms

Things are looking a bit better now than when we had that string of over 100 degree days. Here are a few more garden favorites:

Dark Night, new for me, likes to bloom, looks darker than the photos.

Night Owl climber, new to me, no way it has ever been purple. Maybe next year?

St. Patrick (watch out old boy, or the girls will get you!)

Julia Child, new to me, each flush gets better

Pink Poodle mini, needs pampering, very small blooms, I needed the new camera to capture the blooms.

Pink Poodle is a cutie! Is she worth pampering? How long have you had her?
Love Dark Night...all of em. Thanks for the eye candy!

Love the first St. Pat's greenish tinge.

The Pink Poodle is lovely,

Julia Child seems to go on and on blooming at my fave park garden.

Wow! Dark Knight looks soooo velvety!!
Love the green on St. Patrick. I had that at another place - never got the green. Stayed yellow - lack of heat here. Of course it died since I had it in the ground. I was a beginner. :) But for that year - it was phenomenal.

Just went out to check my Night Owl (in a pot 3rd year). The flowers are definitely a dark purple. No pink, red or fushcia. So while St. Pat can't get the nice color for me here - Night Owl likes our cooler weather.

I like your Pink Poodle - looks like a pink Grace. Love that pink!!
thanks for sharing!!

I'm glad to see your 'Pink Poodle' again. Excellent capture.

I love the greeny-yellow pic of St. Patrick. Amazes me how this rose can be that color and on another day a golden yellow. I also love that it lasts well in bouquets.
