Blooms blooms blooms part 2

And some more...

ALMOST SUNSET - This one almost died on me. I was shocked to see it had died back to the bud union a few weeks ago. But then I saw a little green sprout popping out, and now this nice bloom. I'd hate to lose this rose. It was a test rose from J&P back in the '90's and never was marketed here in the US. It is sold "Down Under" tho. Once it gets going better, I will have to try and take some cuttings.

"PLUM VELVET" - My name for a rose I got many yrs ago at the old Fountain Square Nursery in Sacramento. Apparently it was a J&P test rose from sometime in either the late '80's or early '90's. Never got marketed, but I guess one of the local Rose Society members propagated some and they sold them there. It was blooming when I got it, and was so beautiful and unusual, I had to have it.

Beth - Those roses are gorgeous! I've been considering Sedona, because I love the unique color, that picture is helping me decide. I really like the 777 Rose, Showtime, Lavender Lady and Farfalla. Your Plum Velvet is lovely too, I think it is great that you have roses that are not even in commerce. They are all very nice!

Holy Toledo you have some gorgeous roses!!! You never seem to show the same roses (or not that often) - yet you're always showing these beautiful roses. You must have quite a lot of roses plants!!
Lavender Lady, Showtime and Sandra are my favs - but I would take any of those and grow them in my yard. Wow!!
