Thank you mailshadowfax and Beth. Sunsprite has been a good rose for me.

Lovely bloom- does the rose stay yellow from beginning to end? I ask because sometimes yellow roses open up as Yellow and then change slowly to White...

Thanks surya55. I think Sunsprite holds its color really well, mine hold their yellow color through the life of the bloom.

Thx for letting me know Sara-Ann!

RE: Sunny Sunsprite

This is why the gallery is such an upper this time of year--seeing a beautiful, cheery bloom like your Sunsprite, sara-ann. The deer and the weather have gotten all but a very few of any good blooms I had left, so the gallery is where I'm going to hang out. Thanks for posting this lovely pic. Diane

RE: Sunny Sunsprite

Diane - I agree. My roses got zapped a week ago (Wednesday morning the 13rh). I have kind of been having withdrawals. I loved going out in the evenings after work, I had so many buds left to open, kind of sad, but it was such a good season and I'm thankful for that. It's probably good to have a little break and this is a good time to plan for next year.
