Abracadabra--the older one

This one was bred by Warriner in 1991 and later intro'd by J & P. I got it because I liked the buds, having never seen the blooms.
It's blooms don't last long in the heat but the colors are amazing to me.

in spring, it has brighter colors including yellow (ladybug larva)

in June, it is still bright

Last 2 photos from fall--it reminds me of a watercolor.

Very pretty! I haven't seen this Abracadabra, only the red with yellow that's so hard to find! This one has interesting colors also, a little like Heart of Gold to me :)

My heavens, with that form it doesn't remind me at all of Watercolors! Gorgeous, Kathy! Thanks for sharing it. You hardly ever see this one and it's so lovely.

Kathy, I think, I like this Abracadabra more than the newer one :-)! I have never seen yours before, but it is an absolutely lovely rose. In the last two pictures it has just such a perfect form!

What a versatile bloom. It changes colours with the seasons.
Lovely. Even the little bug on the bud is colourful. Hope it's not doing damage.
