Hondo -- quite a progression of colors

This is a series of photos I took of Hondo to show the progression of colors in this phototropic rose. It starts on a rainy day, before ANY sun has hit this rose and proceeds with photos on sunny days about one day apart. The rose is solid yellow only in NO sun (i.e. a rainy day) -- the rest of the time the sun turns it progressively pinker.

Worthwhile rose. I've seen it as a bagged bareroot at Lowe's during bareroot season (it's distributed by Certified Roses there), but I got mine from Hortico, which still lists it available. Rogue Valley Roses also carries it as an own root plant.

Kathy

Well now this is the second thread I was sure I posted on before and don't see my post.

Any way, love your pictorial! And I love my Hondo too. It's a great rose for me and the colors are wonderful.
