The big fall bloom cycle is a little late getting started this year. We had more rain and chilly weather than usual. But, finally, the abundant buds are starting to open. Here's some pictures of some of them.

Here's a miniature - EMMA GRACE

Wow, Snoheather, this is the first time I've seen you here. And oh, what an entrance, such gorgeous roses and colors.

Miniature Emma Grace looks so gracious. Anna Henderson has got to be the prettiest most-hybrid exhibition "sport-of-a-floribunda" that I've ever seen. LOL! If my words make any sense... I am spellbound by your Spellbound and Vavoom! Nimbus and Scented Memory...

Wow, beautiful pics Snowheather! My ANN HENDERSON never did bloom this yr. I wonder why? I always love her blooms tho. And that's a particularly gorgeous shot of NIMBUS! Love it!

Those are nice! That Emma Grace just glows. How consistent is the form on Spellbound? Just curious.

Thanks, everybody! Of course, they don't look like this in mid-summer. Fried, is a better description for them then!

SPELLBOUND has very consistent form, Bustopher. That is why I have two of them! Since I have limited space and a penchant for collecting, the fact that I have two means I really, really like it! The only problem - the thrips like it, too, mostly in the Spring.

More photos soon - there are many buds ready to open. Of course, we are going to have another rainstorm tonight, which will turn some to mush!

snowheather, lucky you that you are having a "big fall bloom cycle", I wonder were is mine ;-)!

Outstanding photos of wonderful roses!

I love, love, love the photo of Nimbus. I am very pleased to see that this rose is able to produce so incredible pretty flowers, because I have Nimbus on order from Vintage Gardens and can't wait to see it blooming in my own garden next year.

My other favorites are California Dreaming and Leading Lady.

Thanks for posting!

Hi Vicki,

Glad to see some of your gorgeous fall flush. You always take such great photos. The roses this time of year are always my favorite with big blooms and deeper colors. I'd love to hear your take on your newer roses.

Thanks for the beautiful pictures.
