| Hi rose buddies,
It was so pretty this morning I went out and took some photos and made a short slide show of my garden. A few of the roses have bloomed a bit, so I thought I would post it here as well as in the California forum. If you would be so kind as to take a look I would appreciate it. Renee |

| That is rather impressive. Looks like a huge amount of work went into that. Looks good! |

| Oh my goodness you have lawn!!! Lovely garden. Wonderful curves and great combinations. A beautiful retreat. Little John Callistemon - isn't that a bottlebrush? How about Amaranthus? |

| Renee, You are so gracious. Everyone should be asking you for a peek at your garden. Your pictures look like something from BHG. Thank you, Kitty |

| Very nice, Renee! Now I have to go deal with my zone envy again...lol. Had to break down & turn on the furnace for the first time today, ugh. Brought the palms inside for the winter today also. Keep up the beautiful work! |

| Yes, I have zone envy, too. I'm seeing palms, brugmansias, and roses blooming into November. What a beautiful garden retreat! |

| Thanks for the kind words, all. I'm enjoying the roses more each year, as they grow bigger and bloom more. Irisgal, yes, 'Little John' is a bottlebrush. I have three of them along the sides of a little path. I am thinking about getting a standard to go next to the concrete bench, but it's 80 bucks. All of the red amaranth is self-sown. I planted the chartreuse. It lasts a long time- it has been in bloom for two months now, and will continue to look decent through October. New ones are growing that will last through November. Too much lawn, if you ask me. Must sneak in an island bed... Renee |

| BEAUTIFUL!!! I went through the whole album twice, oohing and aahing the whole time. My favorites were the 40-year-old Pepper Tree with the lawn and the Cage Mahal (LOL). Thanks for sharing! Connie |
