Beautiful!

Beautiful bloom! How would you rate it with your other reds?

Kentucky_rose - I think it is a good red rose overall, the blooms are always a true red and sometimes have a velvety look, but not always. I would say they average from one dozen to 15 blooms per cycle, which in my experience isn't overly abundant, but adequate. I took a whiff of it early this afternoon and it had a very nice tea fragrance. I remember one time my daughter ask me if she could cut some of my roses for a special arrangement and I recall she cut some from my Royal William bush and they looked so beautiful in that bouquet. The blooms are gorgeous, mine has always been disease resistant, so I would give it an above average rating. Right now the two reds I have that I would give a higher rating to are Liebeszauber and Let Freedom Ring, those two just keep blooming.
