If the Yellow Rose Of Texas doesn't fair well in Texas how did it get it's name? Go figure huh !! Keep this in mind when I ask for a Illinois rose name Perhaps it is in the state song or perhaps named after a great govener or something like that Does Illinois have such a rose like Texas and if so what is it's name?

O.K. the close as I can come is CHICAGO PEACE I know this is not what your looking for but it's the best I can do.

Well the name does fit. Color and fragrance ect... seem to be ok if nothing else pops out it will have to do. Thanks for your searching assistance. Good news is a search of this named rose in JPG bought me to this link with Hmmmm a few older roses looking for names I thought it might be a good idea to share someone elses inherited rose garden and pics
