| Hi, Harold! be sure to check your junk email folder. I had sent you a message from Boxofrox too! I am sure the email is floating there...Harold I am thinking of you and Adele with love and prayers! In case the message got deleted from the junk folder, let me know and I'll try to resend. |

| Jim the bird is a cardinal or what us southern boys call a redbird. I hope you like my pictures. The pictures of the national park were taken by my son and his wife, they live just outside of Denver, Co. he's a pilot for United Airlines.I really like the squirrel sleeping on the log. Serna, yes I received your e-mail and sent a reply back. That was very nice thing that Boxofrox did and Adele enjoyed it very much. She said to send her thanks to everyone for caring and prayers. She is really healing up nicely, today I looked over and caught her pulling up weeds. You can't keep a good Women down but I'm going to try. HA HA LOL LOL Harold |

| Bless Adele and Sue, yes may those Good Women be always on the Rise! LOL! wow, weeding! I'm too lazy to weed in the fall, LOL! with the very convenient, albeit real excuse in that it has been raining non-stop, LOL! I am glad you got the new email with the new photo. Lovely bird photo, Jim! I was excited to find a blue jay in my yard! I haven't seen a blue jay for years now except for my Dad's backyard, I can never see them anywhere else! Maybe I will get lucky and will be able to catch a photo of it sometime... |

| the cardinals here are very bright red. Our blue-jays are really cool looking also. but, they scare easy and it's hard to take a close-up pic of one. |

| I wish I had cardinals, that sucker is DDG :-) My favorite amongst the regular residents is a rufous sided towhee which looks a lot like an oriole. We have tons of teller's jays. My all time favorite visitor however was the bald eagle that dive bombed my pond while I was out there and knocked himself cookoo on the glass deck rail. He was laying upside down at my feet and he was fascinating :-) |

I could tell boxofox how to get one or two of em but I think it be best to not to cause of some odd eyes that also read though these threads. Laughing with yah boxofox just send one over if you wanna get one or two. Heres to your speedy recovery jim |

Our cardinals got something on them this year that caused them to lose most of their feathers but they seem to be ok now. Jim I don't know if you seen this one on my photobook but my son took it while at the National Park. Harold OK enough with the camera can a guy get alittle sleep

| Boxofrox, hahaha! a cuckoo Bald Eagle who knocked himself out! Oh, that is so hilarious! Hmmm, I wonder if that Bald Eagle and I share something in common in terms of knocking ourselves OUT! hahahahaha! what a hilarious story. Poor Bald Eagle would not have had a rest with my personality! I probably would have still tried to get a photo of him in that compromising embarrasment, LOL! Bald eagles are so amazing and absolutely beautiful birds. I actually saw a Bald eagle flying over the Missouri river one time. I was so shocked. BE's are never seen so close to Kansas City normally. My eyes were about ready to pop out of my head. I was the only one in my family to catch that glimpse while my Dad was driving my brother back to the airport last year (he visits us for Christmas) Boxofrox, you must have read my mind, because I've been trying to identify a mystery hunting bird in my neighborhood. It's too small and white to be a red-tail hawk, but it still has that v-shape profile-I'd think it was a peregrine falcon (whiteness and flecked markings) in terms of size but it doesn't have the "sideburns" of a falcon from what I can see with my fading eyesight. Jim, hopefully you are allowed a few pics of the movie preparations in progress before they start actually filming but I wouldn't want you to go against the movie contract though. I am just hoping they'll allow you a little room to take a few momento pics. Jim, I'll be keeping prayers that you have very skilled doctors performing both procedures and that all the procedures be very successfully and competently done! Many hugs to you! |
RE: Pics For Mr. JIM

same doctor is doing both procedures. he has already done one scope test down the throat for me about 2 years ago. i have faith in him. lol |
RE: Pics For Mr. JIM
| | |
| Well, I am so glad to hear Jim. I thought this was the very first time you've experienced all these tests with the doctor. Me,I'd be freaking out! LOL, LOL! the fear of the "unknown", LOL! Anyway, no matter how good the doctor, yeeks those things are no fun! Hugs! |

| Jim, Do you ever go by the name of Lucky ? VBEG KG, Have you ever seen an osprey? On our raft trip this summer, they were everywhere. Quite fascinating creatures, they can rotate their claws to point the fish forward so they don't catch wind ;-) I guess it's the only raptor so capable. Bet you didn't count on that factoid right here on the rose gallery, eh ? Maybe I should have filed a disclaimer .....no roses were mentioned in the typing of this thread ;-) Speaking of no roses (which I actually just did ;-) I shot some odds and ends this afternoon that I'm going to post a bit later with an OT disclaimer because there were no roses. Don't you hate it when people do that ? No, I thought nought ;-) |

Jim you'll be in my prayers and I love the view that you have just outside of your window. We never get to see hills and fall color down here in the flat land.HA HA Yes I have alot of lizards running around they are every where. They do a good job on the bug population and I love the way they can change their color so fast. LOL Harold |

| Hi, Harold, Jim and Boxofrox! I am posting catchup messages from NYC! LOL! Harold and Jim I had to explain to Boxofrox that this time it's Yahoo mail that is playing naughty tricks on me. Harold I never got your email because Yahoo hid 2 messages from Jim and 2 from you in my junk folder and my Outlook never ever saw them come in. I'm so maaaaad! And 2 of those emails were very old as well. Boxofrox that is a wonderful read about the ospreys. Also I love your non-roses thread! My favorites were the ornamental berries and the ornamental honeysuckle! I bet the birds are loving their ornamental berries! Harold, you did a fantastic job with the lizards and they make great Jim entertainment! |
