It's been raining all day here, so I thought I'd post some blooms from this week when it was actually sunny outside...

Enjoy :) ~Tammy

I just love the pointy petals of Caramel Antike Freelander.
It seems as if there are a whole lot of unusual roses in bloom in the fall.
Thanks for sharing your lovely photos .

Tammy, great roses. My favorite is Tootsie's Lounge.
Could you please say a few words about this rose?
Thank you,
Marina

Thanks for all the comments! I love to hear people's different opinions regarding which their favorites are!

Marina, Tootsie's Lounge was a rose released by Memphis Hybridizer, Whit Wells in 2011. I love some of his miniflora roses, and I bought this one sight unseen (there was no picture on his website or HMF at the time) because the desription sounded interesting to me: a greyish-red floribunda...hmm! After seeing its blooms, I really LOVE it! It's very similar to my Hot Cocoa, but the blooms last much longer, and the color is even more russet/chocolate than Hot Cocoa, although Hot Cocoa's blooms are a little fuller. I also have not had any blackspot with it, which is a nice change. Its a little slow to repeat, but it was just planted this summer, so it may just need time (plus I left it in a 1 gallon pot for 2 months deciding where to plant it...lol...but it adjusted to the abuse quite well!) Here's a couple more pictures of it:

My favorites are Caramel, Break O Day and Mesmerized. Just gorgeous!!!! How are they for fragrance and which one do you like best?

Tootsie's Lounge keeps calling to me too. What an unusual name!
