Earlier today I visited the University of Tennessee's Gardens to get some ideas for my own garden. Their rose garden is beautiful! It has arbors, a gazebo, walkways, and a coy pond (which my pug fell into...it was pretty funny. She thought she could walk on the water lilies apparently).I got some great ideas and also found a couple of roses I've seen online and hadn't been impressed with, but are beautiful in person (Vavoom, Veterans Honor, Paradise, and there's an orange/red one I can't remember the name of...guess its a good excuse to go back!). Here are a few highlights....enjoy :)

Lovely to see such an interesting place. My own fave., is the last photo of orange roses.

WOW!! Just so beautiful....but, I must be doing something very wrong. My roses don`t look like these do. Full of blooms and green leaves!! i need to go to rose school! BAAAA!!! Lesley

Thank you for the tour. It's interesting to see the pics of the whole bush.

The colors are really vibrant and cheerful.
