I keep thinking I've posted enough pictures, but I couldn't keep from posting this one, because my VH had such a struggle getting started, but now it seems to be doing great! I think VH is about the most perfect red rose I've ever seen, wish it had more fragrance.

I agree! Veteran's honor is about the best red out there. I'm tied between that and Black Magic. I bought 3 more of each of them for next year :0) Fantastic looking bloom. Looks like she has a pinpoint center!

Thanks Arcus - I love looking at all of your varieties. I wait with anticipation to see which ones you are going to show us next. Yes, your Black Magic is gorgeous!. Noticed you have Liebeszauber, I like it too and Let Freedom Ring. I will admit though I prefer the more fragrant ones. I'm hoping Firefighter will be a long lasting one for me, it definitely has the fragrance!

Ooooh! Lovely color and form. The petals look so velvety. Looks like a great rose. Carol

That is a beautiful picture of VH. I just planted one last week - hope it makes it through a northern Ohio winter! I'll post a picture next spring.

Thanks Carol, thanks Thunder12. Do hope you have good luck with yours and look forward to a picture.
