too tall 'Secret' - can't see

I hate this pic. Didn't realize there were 2 palm trees! Not my cup of tea with roses. A nice flowering cherry would be good. 'Secret' has put out way too many canes. Because of neglect? I'll get the stepladder for next pic.

Secret - Tracy'92 - looking darkish this Nov.

It looks lovely. Looking forward to your stepladder photo. :>)

Yes, cherry trees with roses would be lovely!
There sure are a lot of flowers on your Secret rose. Is the fragrance as nice as I've heard?
Looks a lot like my Gemini.

Yes to the fragrance! It is lovely. My nose cannot detect any wafting like I can with climbing 'Royal Sunset' and 'Abraham Darby'. I couldn't smell 'Pristine' (its parent) and since they looked so alike I shovel pruned her.

'Gemini' out here has quite a dark orange edging. I'm giving mine to a friend. It's never had the soft feminine pink that 'Secret' usually has.

Inga, I'll get on that stepladder :-)

RE: remaining blm.

Forgot to say this is rather sparse bloom.

Do you know what root stock your Secret is on?? I've heard conflicting stories about this rose on different root stocks.

Ken, sorry. I don't know the root stock.

Iris_gal. - Like the way your Secret looks, it's lovely. Mine has barely grown.
