I'm thinking gold-medal as well. Mine seems to get more orange as the weather warms up and more yellow in the cooler weather.

eille, where did you get the rose from? Does not appear to be either Gold Medal or Sheila's Perfume to me, reminds me of an Eddie Edwards rose from a few years back that I grew, but can't remember the name yet.....

Does it smell? Does it bleach out and lose color with time? Those are important questions. If the flower loses color, then the finger is pointing more towards Gold Medal. If it holds its color and has a strong fragrance, then a closer look at Sheila's Perfume is in order. It could just as easily be someone else also.

My first thought was Gold Medal, before I read the others comments, but it's almost too perfect. Doesn't remind me at all of Sheila's Perfume, but then roses can look different, depending on the climate and other factors. It does look like it could be a florist's rose. The blooms are gorgeous.

Looks very similar to Deidre Hall Ht from Eddie Edwards, or could be "The Lady" Fryjingo....
