Seven inches!!!! The bush probably doesn't throw too many roses, because so much energy goes into each bloom????? I love the colors!!! Carol

The bush was planted in the spring and it has two more buds, one to a stem. I was wondering if I should have let such a big rose develop. The other two buds won't make it because it is supposed to be 27 degrees tonight and 24 the next.

Don't know how cold sensitive your rose will turn out to be, but usually I just let nature decide whether or not the buds will survive. On the other hand, if the buds are far enough along (have color and nearly ready to open), I might cut one or both and bring inside for a last lovely bouquet. Kate
