Gorgeous roses and photos, Masha! You make me think I should try again on Paradise Found (my two own roots never leafed out). I see you also have two of my very favorite Romanticas - Rouge Royal and Comtesse de Provence (Liv Tyler). Do you have Sweet Promise, too? They have huge decorative form blooms on strong canes, so they don't end up flopping over like some Austins (and others) do. Plus, they smell so sweet.

I love your Secret Garden Musk Climber, too. I think I may have fatally injured mine by pruning it too severely. I for sure will get another if I did. That scent is just heavenly!

Thanks again for the great pictures!

Gorgeous roses Masha! I still am amazed at your PARADISE FOUND. Mine never bloomed whatsoever. I was out there yesterday checking the pot ghetto where it's located, and it's just a couple of fat, short canes with a couple of skinny stems coming off them. I sure hope it does something next yr!
I think it's safe to say that IS Handel. Sure looks like it to me.

Your Rouge Royale is absolutely awesome! I've heard this can be a difficult rose but your bloom is just amazing. Heritage and Sophie's Perpetual are two other favorites.

Masha, I am also becoming a big fan of Paradise Found! I was thinking that a rose so bi-colored is a little bit too much for my own garden, where up to now I stayed away from roses in very fancy unusual colors, but Paradise Found may change my mind!

I also like the photos of Intrigue, Comtesse de Provence, April in Paris, Janet, Sharifa Asma and Heritage a lot.

Since I am in India right now and haven't seen any rose for quite a while I am suffering severe "rose craving". Therefore it is especially nice to see your beauties and be aware that they are still flowering so lovely in California!

Ooops - I meant BARE roots, not own roots on Paradise Found. Where did you get yours? Mine were from Edmunds.

Your photos of Sophie's Perpetual are very artistic - could almost be paintings!

MASHA
GORGEOUS just GORGEOUS, what an array of beautiful roses each and everyone of them. I'm going to see if SHEILA'S PERFUME & PARADISE FOUND will do well in my zone, your specimens are just Stunning. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, everybody!

Snowheather, I am sorry about your PF. I bought mine on summer clearance from a local nursery this year, and so far, so good. I really loved its fragrance. I don't have Sweet Promise, but I do have Yves Piaget and Classic Woman. I agree the bush form is much more upright than that of Austins. They all have been vigorous growers so far. I am glad you are enjoying yours!

Beth, thank you for another ID of Handel. Perhaps I should drop the questions marks:-). Sorry about your PF. I never had much luck keeping grafted HTs in pots:-(, perhaps it could do better in the ground.

Ingrid, I am glad you like my RR. You would hate the bush form though:-), very HT-like. It is a great cutting rose, as I hope your Classic Woman will turn out to be. Sophie's Perpetual is a great little rose, thornless, fragrant and a generous bloomer.

Christina, I am glad to hear from you!. I am sorry there are no roses for you to see in India, and I hope you will come home to see yours in bloom. The season here is almost over, it is pretty cool now and some roses are refusing to open. I am looking forward to winter pruning:-).

Harold, Sheila's Perfume and Paradise Found are both very fragrant, I hope you like them if you decide to get them.
