Everything is taking a long time to open now that the nights are cooler. Here is Gemini which has taken over a week and will last a long time.

Henryinct,

My Gemini is still slowly putting out blooms too. The new ones appearing now appear more like your image and spring blooms. I find the range interesting. During the heat of summer, the blooms are white edged in what is closer to a light pink.

Take a rose like Double Delight that has so much variation anyway and see how much of a difference cooler weather makes. Now they are redder and pinker than in the heat of summer.

Beautiful!

May be they are more intense in colour, because they received all the nutrients during summer.
Lovely bloom.
